I have an Greddy Ultimate:
I was talking to an Greddy tech support, I was asking him if he knew a tunner in my area,...So CA, and he said that it didn't really matter if the tunner knows the car, as long he knows the Greddy you'll be fine. Is this guy outta his mind?? You don't expect a Ferarri to run like a "Rolls Royce, or a Yugo to run a Ford. Mazdas don't have the same sensor, and modules as a Toyota.
Is this guy nut's or Iam I in the dark and clueless? Yes, most cars are generally the same, they just regulate air/fuel differently.

Tuning in general is pretty wide open and generalized no matter what car you have. Although when you throw in different systems with different software is when things get complicated. Forsay your buddy knows how to tune AEM, you ask him to look at your Greddy unit. Most likely it would be rather confusing for him at first because of the 2 different softwares. A good tuner though should be able to use piggyback units with ease.
