okay im on a time crunch to get my car done. im missing a #$%^ing knock sensor. is there a way to run my 7mgte with only one knock sensor?? or will it screw with the computer? i need some options but i have no money to spend. could i use an NA knock densor?

il be using a piggy back so im not worried about running rich just woried if it would set it into limp mode or whatever that is?

I would not recommend pulling fuel to fight your ECU but rather just replace the sensor asap to clear the code 51.

Agreed, however clearing the code will require replacing the sensor, pulling the EFI fuse for 30 seconds, and hoping that your wiring is good.

And it's code 52, not code 51.

well i wont know if i have a code unfortunatly my cluster is gone had to do all new gagues. so i need bolth knock sensores or my car will run like hell?

You could splice one sensor to both ECU leads. But I would consider it a short term solution until a 2nd sensor is in place.

And I wouldn't say it runs like hell. More like crap.
