knock sensor!!!!!

so, i was ready putting the supra back together and i installed all the wiring harness in the right place when snap, my knock sensor broke!!!! i was like WTF!!!!!!! i checked online for pricing and that shet isn't cheap. ebay, didn't have any for the mk3, but they had for other toyota vehicles. will any fit the 7mge? i ghetto'd the sensor for now, just rtv'd the piss out off it and its sturdy like OEM deal. is this healthy for me to bootleg it?

Yeah, I know those kind of sensors are not cheap, but I would suck up the price and buy one. Ghetto rigging sensors is no good, you want them to work right, so you can get the best performance you can, especially with a knock sensor. If you go to rockauto.com there are a few options for knock sensors on there. They range from about $145 to $160. I would go there, or go to your local autoparts stores and see what the best price they can get you is. But if it were me, I would get that replaced as soon as possible. Hope that helps.
