knock sensor re-wire?

iv got a code 52 on my 7mgte. im looking at doing both knock sensors. i read a write up somwhere but have since lost track of it. anyone with info or a place to buy a kit? heard a sogi guy had kits. any truth to that?

Just pm shaeff he sells the kits for the ks. I have a code 52 as well and I need to get one from him sometime soon

search, in quotes, "knock sensor rewire" will yield nearly 100 threads.

You need some RG-58 stranded core cable:
What ever kind of cable you get, stranded core is more flexible.
8219 or 8259 will work well:

order two connectors #82219-89103 from Champion

Important: ground only one side of the shield, engine bay or ecu end.
