I would like to know what kind of knock sensor systems people use when going standalone. Im working on my ms3x and i would really like to add knock control to it. ive seen some people use the stock knock sensors with a gm knock amplifier that changes voltage output depending on how much knock it sees. Is that the best method? i dont want to break the bank but i dont want to break my engine either. So post up what you guys use!
anyone else? i have been reading about the gm esc module but im not sure how well that actually works with the 7m knocksensors or if you can even use two sensors because it has one input... but i guess one is better than none
