HMM,

Hi guys.

My 7mgte has a very bad klonking sound when I accelerate/decacc??
Tried pulling the carrier bearing to see if there is any play(DS), but none?
And the car vibrates terible going around corners? and just keep getting worse....:nono:

Kinda feels like the hole back "bridge" wheels and diff is moving back and forward every time I accelerate....?

Any Ideas would be greatly appriciated

Grab each wheel and see if there's any play/clunking top to bottom side to side.

There isnt, have already tried....

it cant be the diff, cause it came from my parts supra and it ran great

Try jacking up each wheel with the jack under the a arm and repeating

you mean jacking up the car by "lifting" under the wheel arms??
and not the body?

Yes!

When you lift by the body the suspension sags away from the worn points of the joints so everything can feel ok but when it's loaded you could have slop!

btw could i replace the DS hanger bearing with one from the NA model?

Not 100% certain but I think they're the same part number if so yes!

They indeed are the same, my T DS fits perfectly in my N/A Hanger bearing. Maybe check the rear subframe for cracks ?

hey 1J,

I tjeck the wheels and they are fine ,

but when I jacked(under the diff) up the car I noticed, when in gear and the wheels turning in the air, when i push down the clutch pedal it vibrates and klonks????

Any ideas??:1zhelp:

Marlon: As c44 said check the front of the Subframe to see if it's broken around the diff mounts!

Hi Again,

I cant see any cracks and I have just change my diff - think I would have noticed

I have an almost brand new subframe lying around just waiting - but Im a bit nervous about pulling the old subframe because of all the rust - ITS ALL RED!!:cry:

couldnt it be some bad bushings?
maybe bad suspension?
