1. guys w/ jdm motors... where the hell did you put the wire for the water temp gauge??? there is no sender for this :nono:

2. there is white smoke coming from where my cps is... seems to be steam from what i can tell (doesn't have much of a smell (i also have a low level of anti-freeze in my cooling system))... could be my head studs backing out, but just curious if anyone has experienced smoke coming from this area before?

yes there is. it's right where it is on the USDM models, tucked down behind the powersteering resivour bracket.

if you have a leaky CPS seal, then smoke will come from there. i'm replacing my external o-ring this weekend.

asap (which will be monday, because i'm out of town :-/) i will take the p/s resiviour off and show you pics :biglaugh: , i may find a sensor, and if i do i'll feel like a moron, but i swear there isn't anything where it should be :-/, as for the cps seal... i'll look into that, but i do need to re-torque the apr head studs, just because i havn't yet, but thatnks for the jdm 7m advice, as always :icon_bigg

Well...If there isn't one there, then you must have the Extra-Tyte-Yo JDM Motor...:biglaugh: No, I'm Kidding, lol...There SHOULD be one there...Mine was there from the day I got it but while I was swapping out turbo's a couple months back, I accidentally ripped out the censor and now I need to do a little sodering(sp?) to fix it...Weird thing is is that my temp. gauge still reads...and surprisingly accurate too!:icon_conf
