so here are my thoughts on it and i think matt will agree with me. i want to host a supra meet sometime in july. we will all meet at matts dyno in indiana, so we can do some dynoing and then im going to try to rent out ohio valley drag way so that after the dyno we can go have fun at the drag strip without having wait in line to run.

pricing for dyno will depend on the amount of people who dyno but im sure matt will give us a good deal on the dyno.

as far as ohio valley goes i will have to see how much it is to rent and then see how many people plan on coming to get a price.

also i would like to have more mkiv then the past supra meets.

but mkiv, mk3, mk2,mk1, sc300,is300, mr2, and and all are welcome to show up.

im trying to get things together so please let me know if you would be up for it.

Really thats the purpose of a meet.... all us owners and enthusiasts getting together and hanging out... drag racing and dynoing just add to the fun... then if we are lucky we can all go for a cruise

I'm glad to see others stepping up to the plate to organize Supra meets. :)

Chris - I'm always down for a Supra meet...However,
As Steve has mentioned, This is really butting heads with the Chicago Annual.
We've been doing the Chicago thing for quite some time now,
and as I've attended 3 Kyana (easier to say) meets myself,
I think I've become partial to 'half-nekked' professional models, drag day, dyno day and show'n'shine day. ;)

"Chi2k_" has always been early August...
But this year, for sake of the college kids going back to school,
We're planning to have it sometime in July, so it seems.

Not that I wouldn't mind attending 2 Supra meets in one week :),
But the cost for traveling expenses alone will eat me alive.

With me organizing the Indy meet, in addition to helping with CHI2K9 this year,
I'm going to be very busy. Given any opportunistic chance I can make it to a Supra meet, I'm there...As long as it doesn't interfere with Chicago.

This. Is. Ritual. ;)

To be honest, I've always liked having the basic Annual itinerary of...:

Spring - Indy Meet (April-May)
Summer - Chicago Supra's Annual (July-Aug)
Fall - Kyana (Oct-Nov)

But as time goes, I guess we'll see how things work out.

Nobody said it had to be a major regional event, we have those covered. If its just a few of us locals hanging out it will still be cool.

Well, you've already got my two cents. :)

I can say, as long as it's a cheap meet (Cost for overall participation),
I'd be more than willing to take the bite on driving south for a little get together.

But again, anything much beyond that, and I just can't afford it with having to put together the Indy meet as well followed by Chicago about a month after that.

If you're really ready to get serious...Feel free to throw out some dates.
Gotta start somewhere. ;)

I wont miss the chicago or Indy meet..and I personaly think we should keep the Kyana meet in the fall. If you try to organize a bunch of meets around the same times alot less people are going to show up to each of them. Which in turn is less fun. Plus if you move Kyana to the spring/summer what will we do in the fall??? lol then someone has to plan and organize ANOTHER meet, or nothing at all. However, if you just talking about a small get together with some locals go for it! Just make sure your at the chicago and Indy meet!!! 2 best meets of the year :D
