Got her on craigslist two weeks ago I've done so many thing to her to get the car set as a good dd. New tail lights did some things to the motor like vac lines and small things here and there. Just today I put a LSD I got from a automatic in my car was fun and my friends didn't even help.
Here is my old car.

So i have some new things that will go one soon. All i need now is a gte block a ecu for an 87 and a harness. I would use the ge block but it has 186,xxx on it and its burning oil slowly. So I am just going to get a gte and put everything on it and go from there.

Suck a pain in the ass. The front control arm bolt was crazy long like a foot. Had to get it out of the way to get the strut out. Sucked but the car is so much better. The old tokicos that were on the car are so bad I would scrape flaps on the road.

So the coolant line that goes around the block rusted away on my car the other day. I got a new one from the junk yard but didn't know how to get it on I was going to drop the tranny but my friend came over and help me out. All we had to do was take off the valve covers and somehow got it on. Had the motor down to just the head and block but it was a good learning experience for me now I know how to take everything off my motor and put it back on the right way.

So I got some stuff machined and getting closer to the swap now that I have a part time job. Got the block decked and honed. Checked the ring gap on all the rings. Just need the crank polished and resurface the head and get new bearings.

Update I got my crank cut and polished got the head decked for free like a boss also got my clevite bearings from the shop 85 total the rods and mains both cut -10. put her all together today all I need is a head gasket like hks and a lower gasket set front and rear main and timing cover stuff then slap the head on and torque the arps down. Soon the NA to turbo swap will be done got everything I need but the hks it the most pricey thing left to buy. I can't wait to have a turbo car never had one before never really driven one. Wait I take that back drive a mkiv from pismo to Fresno one time that was sweet.

Did you shit on Debra's desk too? JK

Did you get the rear aluminum timing cover machined when you got the block decked? It NEEDS to be cut with the block as the head seals to both the block and the timing cover, so they have to be the same height.

Why is your head missing one valve?
