I'm down to my last plug and it seems to be a doozy. My B3 connector has completely different colored wires in it. It hasn't been altered. Can anyone tell me if I'm missing something.

What are you trying to wire up? That plug looks like its in the engine bay but its too much of a close up to tell where. B3 is under the dash by the ECU.

I pulled the harness back in the bay but this is the B3 connector that sits by the ECU. All the other connectors were matched with plugs, number, and color codes.

I don't know how much more specific you need for me to be... It is the B3 connector... How many B3 connectors are there near the ECU? As stated before so far I've been wiring everything according to the plug name and wire color codes. The B3 connector on my JZA70 engine harness has the wrong color wires on it.

He is asking because depending on what you want to wire you may only need a couple of wires for the whole plug. I had the same issue what diagram are you going by? Some of the colors were different but as long as they are the same number in the plug you should be good. If it hasn't been messed with the position on the plug not the color is important.

ok, the 1J engine harness doesn't have a B3 connector, the B3 should be on the MA70 chassis and the wires splice into the IH2 of the 1J. When I did my swap I didn't use the wires because I don't have ABS or PPS. I can't find any info on the ID of that plug either.
I just took out my glovebox and snapped a bad cellphone pic of the same plug you have there and I didn't need it for the swap, I don't know what it went to on the JZA70 halfcut I got my motor from but you won't need it for your swap.

Like he said you may not use the plug. I used the plug because I wanted power steering and abs. I looked for pics but didn't have any, sorry. If you are really concerned about the colors just trace them back to the abs ecu cause most of them go th the abs ecu. It's right next to the ecu, Should be easy.

Here is the only pic I have of the jumper harness I made. It shows what Foogoo said tha there is now b3 for the engine harness and how it is spliced in to two of the plugs from the engine harness.

Sweet then I guess I'm done. The plug I'm dealing with is the same exact plug as the B3 plug as I have the one from the MA70 and it looks exactly like the plug in question but with different color wiring. Thanks for the info.
