Hey guys thanks for checking out my build page. I started this thread a little deeper into my build than I planned, but will try to start from the beginning in description and pics.
1991 Toyota Supra Turbo Targa 5-spd
White Package
Blue Leather
First the car's story...
I am the 3rd owner total, but 2nd on paper. The original owner in Michigan had a BHG at 116,xxx miles and parked the car in 2001-2002. The car sat for about 6 years until a kid in Virginia bought it from him as a project. The kid took the engine out, and proceeded to attempt a rebuild. He had the head rebuilt, and the block honed and decked, but for some reason did not have the crank turned or polished which in turn caused his bearings to not Plasti-gauge out right. He became frustrated and ran out of money, so he listed it on Craigslist. I just happend to be looking at MKIII's on Craigslist in my area, and didn't find anything so I started looking further and further from home. I ran across his ad and immediately called him. I drove up and trailered the car back home only $950 poorer. He is what she looked like after her first bath back in Alabama...
