I have reinspired my interest in my supra. Last year about this time I acquired a 88t and in the matter of a weekend, riped out the engine, pulled the oil pan and scooped out about 1" of sluge, changed all the rod bearings and did the head gasket and new cluch. The cluch was the most difficult thing to do without a TM.
I have never seen one like that where you have to take the fork out before the dame thing will separate.
Had me fooled for a while. But just wanted to say that after all that hasty non measuring engine work and 12,000 of the hardest miles that have ever been on the car and still running strong as hell and I beat the hell out of it. Oh the total mileage is 240,000 now. I just make sure that the oil is topped off. I don't understand how you can kill the 7m. Well have a good evening everybody!
