nah i fiddled with it alot, the wastegate line was in the waste gate. the other line was plugged to the turbo housing. it might have been broke. tomorrow should be clear weather so i'll find out if it was the boost controller or if i have a massive leak somewhere.

what are your mods?

It took 4 washers on each bolt to get me 10 psi falling to 7 psi with STOCK exhaust,dp,cat, and intake after I put an exhaust on, it hit fuel cut instantly, I pulled all but 1 out and it ran 10-11 psi

dont do it. if you dont blow the hg, then you'll blow your turbo seals... at least i did after about 3 months. it was fun while it lasted. but a larger exhaust is a better and safer way to up the boost.

to be honest.. i had a mbc and it didn't work as well as shims for those low boost levels. Of course it was a cheapie ebay one, but it seemed to spike a little and occasionally hit fuel cut on fast shifts going down the 1/4.. with the shims it didn't hit fuel cut and boost was solid.

A slight shim, combined with an MBC can do a nice job though.

Personally, I have my wastegate shimmed, probably more than I really should. (It's just 2 washers, but they're pretty thick.) When I then put on the huge exhaust, it makes more boost than I really think that I want on a stock CT26, so I'm going to remove 1 of the washers, and install an MBC so that I can controll the boost levels.

Once I get an AFPR, I'll be installing a larger turbo (I hope) and then it'll be fun fun fun.
