Just installed an electric fan on our 90T today. Used a SHO electric 2 speed fan and a Flexalite VSC controller. Works pretty nice. Have some more room in there too. If NAPA had their S^*(% together I could take the car for a spin and see what difference it makes. Napa can't seem to get me a Front Left caliper. 1 week later. :icon_evil screw'm.

the stock fan is nowhere near worthless. many people use them on high hp cars. I went through SOOOOO much trouble to get my electric fan setup working right, and went several different routes on it. I am finally using something similar to a dual FAL setup, with a stock hyndai radiator fan switch in the ported vac switch hole.

If I had to do it all over again.... I would stay with the stock fan

the SHO fan is a nice powerful electric fan. It has 2 speeds. I got my SHO's wired on the Low speed, and they still cool my 4runner and this supra. WHen I started usin electric fans I failed...lol. I started with a flexalite universal from summit fort $75.... my 4runner heated up when off-roading. These SHO fans are AWSOME. So I do understand the fact that a lot of electric fans suck. Thos ones from Autozone (haydens?) also suck.

Yes, or this fan is also found throughout the Ford line-up. The contour V6, some lincolns and I believe some mustangs carry this same fan also. Just take a stroll through the local Ford salvage yard and your sure to come across several.

yes taurus SHO. I really like the fan. I think it's well built and HD and pulls TONS of air in low and HI speeds. Anyone need a stock fan, clutch or auxilary fans?

I just removed my dual FAL 210 setup when I had to swap out my radiator. I had the fans mounted using those stupid plastic ties that go through the fins and it caused my radiator to leak. I ended up putting my stock fan/clutch back on until I could order the correct mounting brackets from FAL. I still haven't ordered them but haven't decided if I will actually put my electric fans back on. They do look sweet and clean up the engine bay a lot though but the stock fan works just as well anyway.

well I fabricate my own brackets for fans. On our 90T's radiator there were 2 Support tabs on the bottm... like L's. I slotted the bottom of the SHO fan so it would sit on those L support tabs. and on the top I fabricated 2 brackets out of some strip steel to the factory shroud mounting locations. thing aint going no where. It's all about the FAB.

Do not run things through the fins to hold a fan on. You are just asking for trouble, to anyone that is thinking about ordering fans that tell you to do this, DONT!
Just my opinion.
