Mods to motor is as follows:

89 block
JE pistons (stock compression ratio)
Eagle H beams
Fully balanced
rebuilt head
T-61 turbo (1.15 exhaust AR, getting a smaller AR soon lol)
fatty IC with 2.5 in IC pipes
Stock 440's
Denso Fuel pump (flow a little more than walbro)
2.0 MLS HG
ARP head studs
ARP hardware throught motor
shimmed new oil pump
oil cooler

Ok so i just installed a AEM UEGO WB sensor in my car about 2.5 feet from the turbo.
I started her up, and My AFRs are from 14.8-15.3 at idle. I read that thats what it should be at idle.

Cruising in 3rd at about 2.5ish K rpm m at like 13.7-15.2 back n forth.

Now when i hit boost at like 3/4 throttle AFRs are around 14-15ish a couple times hit 16 i think. i havnt really given WOT yet cause im almost done breaking my engine in after building it. It went to a solid 10.0 under boost twice when i was driving, maybe i gave it more gas there or something. I only took it out for 1 lap so far with the guage in, so im not exactly quite sure what the normal AFRs for my car are yet. Ill gather more info tonight when i go to HWY.

In 3rd gear when i boost up to 5 k it Fuel Cuts at about 7psi. Im thinking its cause i have the big t61 wheel putting more air than the 440s can handle. I have 560 injectors here but was waiting to get the WB in before i do anythin with tuning.

I have the maf-T basic that im looking to start running soon. i also hae the lexus AFM that can go with the 560s.

Im gettinf a FFIM setup in about a week, so i dont really wanna cut up the IC piping i have on now, only to put it up for sale soon. I figured id just wait for when i go FFIM to set up the maf-t.

Now i kinda want to run the lexus AFM and 560's untill i switch to maf-T. Is there any way i can tune the AFRs with out a tuning thing? I read somewhere theres a screw on the housing that lets more or less unmetered air through. So i was wondering if i could throw the 560's and lexus AFM (which from my understanding usually runs rich without a tune and 550s for the most part??) and just watch the AFRs and adjust the screw as needed....?

when i let off the gas to slow down in gear, my AFRs go so lean the guage goes to 3 dashes and the light is all the way at 16. so its more than that. is that just cause im deceling the engine?

what should i see for AFRs cruising, under boost, decel etc..?

Afr's cruising and idle is 14.5/15.5

Under boost a good tune is 11.5.

My car when i let off gas venting the bov goes rich and then lean and then the - - - appears on gauge until i steady out the idle or go back into gear.

I would for boost leaks/vacuum leaks

ya i checked for leaks earlier and i dont think i have any. Ill check again though.

So i think ill be safe if i go to the lexus AFM and 560s for now. I would prolly run a little rich dont you think? Ya cause in 3rd gear its fuel cuts at 5k and 7psi.
i want to fix that if it will.

you can, but the screw is sealed over so you have to drill the housing so you can access it again. someone else can chime in on where exactly, though if you look on the housing there may be a mark whenre it was plugged, just be carefull not to drill to far and damage the screw end.

look into the housing from the engine side and you can see the screw on the bottom.

ok ill check for the screw. So if my AFRs are actually like 14's under boost, how bad is that? Its when i just creep into boost, like not full throttle but about 3/4 just smoothly building boost. Im just thinkin i havnt opened the throttle enough for it to add the necessary fuel amount for the boost. Cause it did go to 10.0 a couple times under boost.

I'm sittin in my car now and at warm idle its at 17:1... Should I be concerened? When I give it gas it richens out. I'll see what they are as I drive to my buddies house.

Ok well I just stopped at walmart, and now my AFR at idle looks good. 14.6-15.2.

Idk why it was 17 earlier.

Ok so when I give it gas and it starts to boost, when I reach like 4 lbs prolly (didn't get a good look) it goes to 10.0 in 2nd and in 3rd.

So it's at like 14.3 when it builds and a little while it's boosting, then it goes to 10.0.

I'm gunna put the Lexus/560s in 2morrow and see what it's at then.

I took my stock boost sensor solenoid thing out of the engine bay cause I have an aftermarket gauge.

Would that affect the AFRs being lean a little bit in boost?

no, that only drives the dash gauge, nothing more.
