After 6 months of searching I finally found the perfect Mark 3 Supra. It's a 89 Turbo, Targa, auto. Burgundy inside and out. One day I was dropping off my older brother and there it was in the drive way next to his house. It needs two rear tires and new brake pads to pass inspection and some new paint. Enough of me talking here are the pictures.:icon_bigg o ya and i paid 1,600 for it.

good find and if you ask me that is a steal for 1600!

just some advice, id take it easy on her for awhile til you work out all the bugs and make sure she runs good mechanically or you are going to be working on it more than you drive it:3d_frown:

Yah, I like the SC rims alot on this car so it doesn't bother me.

Yah I'm not doing any mods for 4 months just in case anything else shows up( besides a new head gasket to be on the safe side)... Im lucky the car was sold to me the person i bought it off didn't want to sell it at all/ but Iforced him :evil2:

no exterior pics? sounds like a good deal..

i agree on taking it easy until youfigure out what's going on under the hood. especially check on the status of the head gasket. fixing it early before it blows or starts progressing is the best time to catch it of course...it might save you some grief. that one got me a few months after i bought mine, not bad...but i can't drive it now...for a few weeks more.

autos are good in their own right, just from experience, mine didnt hold up to well and went pretty quick, so i swapped to 5sp, but its all on preference, i prefer 5sp, to me its more fun to drive!

good luck with it

Welcome to Supramania! I'll just say this...Don't let people tell you that an Automatic car is slow...Especially a Turbo Auto Supra.:) I have yet to lose to a 5speed car off the line and let me tell you how great it feels holding boost the whole time while the others are having to shift...Don't get me wrong, 5 speed's are funner...
Also, for the record. A340E. That's the name of your transmission because if you don't take care of it...plan on getting another!:) Enjoy your Supra! Congrats. It's beautiful, btw.
