I just picked up this 1987 mkIII supra!

body is in good shape with no major rust. The story behind this car is that it was bought at auction after being repossesd. After being purchased it was driven for a few months by the owner who owned a car dealership/repair shop. The owner removed the engine because the turbo had a bad seal in it... and the car had 137,000 miles on it. The original engine apparently ran well with the exception of the leaking turbo. This is when I come into the picture. I am a big fan of Japanese cars and motorcycles, have never owned a Toyota. I picked up this car and all the parts( I hope) for 300$. I took an old school mechanic friend of mine to the pick up and he told me I was stealing the car for 300$ so i felt pretty good about things. Now that the car is sitting in my garage i'm struggling to filter through all the crap on the internet.... So what i'm here for is to ask for opinions... I have about 4,000 $ to play with, all the body work i can get done for free and all the instillation. So i have more pictures u can look at and let me know what u think. Im leaning towards a 1jz swap or a 7mgte with a rebuilt head. So im askin the question "if u had $4,000 and an empty engine bay what would u buy and where would u start"... I'm really new to the supra scene and figured i could get some solid advice here.

Heres the beast

My engine block doesn't look terrible, but i wanna fresh start on something that doesn't have 130,000 miles on it
