JUN Flywheel Question

I just got my JUN Flywheel. I bought it by rhdjapan. See attached pics.

JUN Lightweight Flywheel - Standard Type Toyota



The delivery took three month.

The material is Chrome-molybdenum steel.
But why is the flywheel so dark?
I thought the surface should be shiny. At least the friction surface. Is this normal?
Should I grind the friction now?

So its about 13.5 lbs. How much does the stocker weigh?

Usually all that's required is a wash down with paint thinner/prepsol and you're good to go, should be written in the destructions or on the box.

How much does the stocker weigh?

I measured a resurfaced stocker at 18.5lbs on a bathroom scale.
