I keep seeing everyone starting build threads, and I thought it would be cool to have one...so here it is! :biglaugh:

This isn't really going to be a build thread...(hence the title "Supra" thread, not build...lol). Just want to share my experiences with everyone while upgrading/repairing the Supra. :)...I hope you guys enjoy!

So, to start it off, here is the last thing I did to my car...the Bose Speaker Installation:

And very soon I will be installing:
•KYB GR-2's (Thanks Aaron ;))
•3-in Exhaust w/ 4-in tip (courtesy of Mattjk)
•JDM JZA70 Springs

And a couple little things, like replacing the melted spoiler tail lens, fixing power antenna, and fitting a coil packs cover!

TODAY! (lol...IJ format)

I installed my 89+ JDM tails!

Here are some before and after pics:

I still need to paint the two metal pieces white, but I am really happy with the results! :biglaugh:

Johnathan you have pm!

Anyways...I just noticed you stuck on your original moulding from the pre 89 middle piece onto the 89+ moulding...Very subtle but looks awesome! Where'd you get jdm 89+ tails from and how much?

BAD BRIAN: I have your stickers, they look great, I will be bringing them to Autobacs tomorrow! :)

And the only update I have right now is that I'm waiting for the new, not-melted, 3rd tail lens on the spoiler to get here, as well as some parts, icluding the springs fom Tubbie...Oh, and I painted the black metal pieces white...so now the tails look right at home!! :biglaugh:

I have no use for them but maybe "he lives" might want em, hes taking the shell off my hands. I dunno if he has a set for it or not. I'll ask

Some stuff I did earlier today:

WINGLESS!! lol...j/k...I took it off to compound/glaze/wax underneath the spoiler, because my hand wouldn't fit under it...:icon_conf

IMO, the Supra's wing looks better on a BMW...:dunno:...lol.

All finished! And while I was there, I made the spoiler seals black again (had white overspray), and replaced the melted lens.

hey, I know where that is. That's just parallel to Firestone, right? I have a friend that I went to highschool there with... he has an AE86 and an 89 supra. I should call him up.
