I put in a 6 puck disc in my stock clutch and it's alot harder to start moving than it was with the stock disc. It likes to jerk. Is this normal with having a 6 puck in there? Also I just installed a brand new slave cylinder Beck Arnley I put about 50 miles on it and the boot ripped and my push rod popped out. Any ideas on why that would happen?

I take it you would get the same effect if you tare a bushing from the rear.

Outer lower right hand side for example LOL

Did you see the warning label on the clutch. "For track use only". Anyway I have an ACT 6 puck on mine with stock disk and pressure plate and yes it does engaged pretty hard. It will take some time getting use to. Try slipping the cluth with a bit of gas. It feels like stock when you get on it but when you are driving normal, it's rough. It funny because you have other people starring at you thinking that you can't drive stick. LOL.

yeah, it takes getting used to. One of my coworkers who I trust to drive brought it up with me when I first in stalled my 6 puck. So after alittle I made a bet with him, that if he could do it better first try (this was the 2nd day of having the act 6 puck, hd pp in), ild give him 50 bucks, if he stalled immedietly, i got 50, otherwise it was a wash. He stalls, i make 50, no word ever said again. Once you get the feel for it, it's much nicer to KNOW it's grabbing on, at least how I see it.

you mean like compression springs between the friction material and the actually metal plate? i see, i guess they dont have them lol

either way they shouldnt be too bad, my cousin has a spec stage 3 in his 240 and its not bad at all, touchy as in when it grips it grips but isnt jerky.
