My -91 T Manual trans. is a bit jerky when I release the throttle and when I accelerate again, most noticeable at low speeds.
There is also a "klunk" sound coming from the rear with every "jerk".
Any ideas? diff? bushings?

For the clunk, you should check to see if the bolts mating the diff and driveshaft are still tight. Next thing to check would be the driveshaft carrier bearing and the bolts that hold it to the chassis.

Yeah, check the bolts between the driveshaft and the diff and check the u-joints on the driveshaft. Reach up under the car, grab the driveshaft and see if you can move it forwards and backwards.

I wouldn't think the carrier bearing would be contributing to this, if the carrier bearing were shot you'd have a HORRIBLE vibration and smacking sound whenever the driveshaft was turning. (ie. pretty much anytime the car was rolling). At least this is how mine was before I fixed it.
