Hey guys, yet another project for me.
my girl needs a car to drive to work, so i found this car on craigslist. needs some work but it was soooo worth it.
in these pics is all the stuff i got with the car.
will be doing a basic rebuild with new OEM pistons, clevite bearings, hks mhg, ARP head studs, lex afm/550s, afpr, 57trim ct-26, and walbro pump. so far the only thing i need to buy is the injectors.
the wheels came on the red car, i put em on my car the day after i brought it home. 19">16"

Do you have any more pics of the ADR rims? Maybe some pics with the whole car? To get some perspektive. I'm gonna buy the exact same ones, only 18x8.5 and 18x9.5. Have been looking around for a while, and finally there are someone with the same ones. :)

Another one?! Nice find dude! That exhaust looks redonkulous lol. I see its got the red interior. Figure out if you need any random interior parts, if I have them, they're yours. Do it quick tho cuz I'm planning on junking the car.

ya i dunno wat the muffler is, he said some no name brand. i'll prolly put the apexi thats on her celica on it.
thanks for the offer Jeff, but i've got a pretty much complete interior in my other supra.
lemme know about that driver door molding though.

should be starting work on it soon. think i might just throw one of those cranks in my 1st rebuilt engine just to get the car driving. then i can rebuild one of the other ones.

nope, i actually haven't done a thing.
painted my dash, replaced my valve seals, did a projector retrofit...

i need to clean my garage and get a 2nd engine stand so i can swap engine parts.
gotta get a crank machined then im gonna put it in my 1st rebuilt motor and drop it in the car, only a couple days worth of work.

update: tore apart the engine i 1st rebuilt to swap out the crank with one i got in this deal. i mic'd the crank journals and they're all within spec. so slowly over the course of the next week or so im gonna re-rebuild the engine.

so far i cleaned the block and painted it silver with some of that 2000* rated "flame proof" paint. wanted to make it easy to see any leaks.
more to come tomorrow, aiming for the end of the year to get it on the road.

That place is a death trap. Some poor bastard on a bike almost got destroyed in the crosswalk the other day. Bitch was goin like 40 in traffic and locked them up. just tapped the guys pedal with the bumper and he just kept on going. I thought he was done for.

yea it is, and its even worse now that they changed it to 2 lanes to go straight on 27...

mini update: the crankshaft i thought i could use has a lil rust on the rod journals cuz the PO half dissasembled the engine then left it outside under a leaky tarp.
so ima have to rip apart a 7mge i have layin around to see how the crank is in that....

painted a couple more misc brakets and intake mani.
goin flat black and silver on this motor.

wow this build = FAIL!

the 7mge crank was toast, the keyways are messed up bad, which sucks cuz the journals were well within spec with no damage.
yesterday i dropped the other crankshaft off at the machine shop, should have it back monday or tuesday.
will then order a set of oversized clevite77 rod bearings.
gotta clean the viton off my MHG and coat it with copper spray (yes it was used and the viton has spots missing)
gonna use the "rebuilt, pressure tested" head i got with the car so i can rebuild my head in the future.

hardest part about this build is cleaning everything thoroughly.
