JDM Tail light covers ... finished ...

Finally, after waiting a 1 and 1/2 years, I recieved my "JDM Tail light covers" from Yashar today.

These things are absolute trash. I am sorry for everyone else who is in on this fiasco. On my set, there are bubbles, missing corners and warpage on all three peices. I don't even think it would be possible to have these professionally "fixed" enough for them to be usable.

Frankly, I could have done better myself with FIMO. (plastic clay that you bake in the oven to harden)

Yashar: Thanks for finally coming through. You are not a total deadbeat. I would suggest that in the future, you try to make QUALITY parts. Not the worthless crap I recieved today. Honestly, how do you expect us to use these?

I'll try to fit them today and get some more pics. However, I'm not too sure, because the inside is bare (fine, corinthian) fiberglass. In fact, it's plain to see that the outer gel coat is just an impression of the stock tail lights, and not a replica of JDM tail light covers.

This doesn't scare me from taking part in other GBs... My expeirience with KevinM's Rear Sunshade has been nothing less than perfect! I picked mine up (minus the brackets .. which are coming down the pike) and it is beutiful!!

That's very true, you have to be careful of some GBs. If KevinM is doing one I would have no worries with being involved with it.
