Is there anything that lets you know if you have a jdm motor or ecu? I was told the one in my car (BHG) now is and the one on the stand is not.

i had JDM stickers on my timing cover... im assuming for inspections... one was at like 80k of kilometers... and another at 137k....
Assuming nothing's been swapped the JDM engine will have 1 vacuum nipple instead of 2 on the throttle body. The throttle bracket will also be missing because they don't need the funky crossover like we LHDers do. There won't be any EGR either, and the oil pressure sender unit is a bit different. I don't know if the ECU has any difference in markings =\
