Who out there has installed the JDM folding mirrors, and are they reversed meaning the glass is for right hand drive cars? I have some questions as i am considering a pair.

well if the glass is for RHD. You can always get the ones from a USDM car and trade them off. Shouldn't be that hard???
sorry duane, let me clear that up. As I mean by off is that the passenger side mirror will be folded in a little more then the driver side. But in Japan our passenger is their driver so its perfect for them. But for us it isnt. Not really a bad bad thing just gotta look down a little bit to see traffic better but the passenger(our driver) will work just fine.
Hope that clears it up some. if not ill try agian in the morning im tired. But I do have a set of JDM mirrors w/ relay, and control box I havent even bothered to wire up yet.

Well this is what i was more concerned with more than the folding, the Euro MK3 mirrors have the glass on the correct side but are manual folders. I just was wondering about what you guys might have come across, wiring them probably is just a matter of building a harness and running it between the mirrors or adding wire to the existing harness.supraman7mgte said:

i have a set of euro manual folding mirrors, they are plug and play, heat and all works great, can NOT swap the glass on them to us spec glass they are shaped differently i was gonna but realised it wouldnt work, electric is nice.. but manuals still get attention with my buddies.
Thanks for clearly that up. I thought you meant the mounting points might be different. If that isn't, so I guess I should get some as well.

I have some for my car and havnet had time to put them on yet, as mentioned above the glass is wrong and the US spec mirrors are a differnt shape, I took mine to a local glass place to get glass put in them. well they didnt listne to me when i told them the US glass was differnt, and they ordered it any way. long story short. after explaning it to them over a matter of a month, they just custom cut glass to fit. they dont look bad but there is a spce on one corner that i feel could have been done better.
