all that for $1978

my car has a stock headgasket which i have no idea if it has been replaced or not, car has 100k on it theres some corrosion all around. i was wondering what are the differences with the jdm? anything? cuz an engine with new headgasket (metal!!!), head studs, timing belt, waterpump, and seals for $2000 isnt all that bad, and the jdm's usually have like 60k on them or less.
