jdm ecu?

Does anyone know if I can use a jdm ecu with my US harness? Also my car use to be automatic it is now converted to 5 speed r154, If a install a manual ecu with a manual harness would everything work inside the car? it currently still has an auto ecu.

Pretty sure the harnesses are the same. And you can use an auto ecu on a manual car, hell, you can even use an auto harness on a manual car. But you cannot use manual ecus or harnesses on auto cars.

No problems with jdm vs usdm. Should all be the same as far as ecu pinout.
