This is what I'm running right now and it's running rich out the ass...

I need an AFC bad. It drives fine though. It just needs a tune really bad.

I have an safc2 but I was under the impression that you can only tune with it at WOT like with the 7m or else the ecu will try to correct all your low settings. Is this correct?

Why are people trying to run a car without a proper tune? If it's a money issue, then dont drive at all. Our cars were tuned a specific way from Toyota and it was done for a reason, if your going to modify. Maintain the proper tune, so you can make optimum horsepower, efficiency, and reliability.

And has anyone actually proven the JDM 2JZ map sensor theory??? Just wondering.

It's not hurting anything and is alot safer than driving around on old 370s.

I guess we should all drive bone stock cars. You know, since that's the way it came from Toyota and they did it for a reason.

I believe you can do partial throttle tuning. I recall Drewgo talking about tuning his AFC for partial throttle in his dyno thread.

Dont come in here talking about needing this and that and modifying, etc... BS
do you know how many people run larger injectors without an afpr and have no issues at all? LOTS. I am not some newb asking a question for a lame azz response such as yours.
I am new to the 1jz tuning for a single setup and was asking a simple question.

man, dont even pay attention to what that guy said, you should be fine

i was able to bring my A/F to 14.5 cruising no problem, and that was 440s, 1J map, and the stock FPR on my car, it takes a lil bit more time to lean it out properly, but you can do it
