J-Tube block off Question.

Alright, I’m upgrading my fuel pump to the Walbro unit. I picked up a ‘j tube block off plate’ from Suprasport. Assume Walbro is installed, what do I do next?

1. Do I: replace object ‘A’ with the block off plate I purchased and I’m done.
OR
2. Do I: replace object ‘A’ with the block off plate. Remove object ‘B’ completely and discard. Then connect object ‘C’ and ‘D’ together w/ a hose or adapter.
