Oh man.. My turbo came on my engine from japan.. That means I got 40 extra hp!?!??!:aigo: :naughty:
He refers to the turbo as a "CT-26a"...isn't that the turbo that came on MR-2's?? Or maybe he is referring to the slightly larger turbo that came stock on Turbo-A supras?
Did some searching, came up with two possibilities....
a) It's from a TurboA... slightly larger comp wheel, wastegate slightly different etc (so I've read)
b) It's just an upgraded ct-26....

if is is a Turbo-A turbo, then yes it should boost higher
40hp is just the base power of the normal 7M to the Turbo-A one, but the Turbo-A had many other mods (MAP based ECU, no bottleneck on the 3000 pipe, ect...)
