dose any one know if there is a stand alone that can have diffrent maps saved on it so if you feel like a 300 hp, all you have to do is drag and drop the map for it in to the stand alone and there you have it, 300 hp. but then if you feel like haven 500 hp, theres a map for it that you drag and drop, or is a stand alone a lil harder to set up than that?

multiple setups at the flip of a switch? maybe like an economy mode with a tune of 1psi and one with a tune of 30 psi? :)

think so i just dont know what offers it..

The fuel map is going to remain essentially unchanged regardless of HP level. Since HP level is determined by the amount of boost that you run then I guess you want to know if you can adjust the boost on the fly with a standalone?

The AEM has the TruBoost gauge that you can adjust your boost setting with. It reads out as a boost gauge and seconds as a boost controller.

You could also use a MBC with a standalone. Since the computer will automatically adjust fuel based on engine load it really doesnt matter if the computer controls the boost or if you have an independent boost controller. Since the feature is built into the AEM, many people choose to wire up a solenoid to the computer and just let it do the work. The AEM can also change your boost setting automatically based upon the vehicle speed sensor. For high HP applications you dont want max boost at your lower gear settings because you will just spin the tires. Setting the boost level based on the vehicle speed sensor essentially allows you to adjust the boost level for each gear.

so if im going like 23mph i will be at 6 pounds of boost and then when it hit 70 i could be pushen 15 pounds? if so that would be something to look in to. but i was thinking diffrent maps cuz i live in va, yea they suck with the hold thing about usen the sniffer on you tail pipe. diffrent maps would make it so i can pass the sniff test(i think).
