.. I'm not a kid anymore:

begin rant:

Could you soulless yuppie cocksuckers take any more fun out of life? You wonder why these kids are coming out all fucked up? You wonder why they commit "adult" crimes? Why the fuck not, you've robbed them of any semblance of childhood they could have had!

Bah!

I need to go to the office...

That crap wouldn't fly. Why? Not just because it's healthy food that many kids would want to avoid, but also because a lot of that sounds like home-made stuff. My parents would throw away all things not properly wrapped, and would inspect my candy before they let me at it. I don't know how other parents are about this, but better safe than sorry. Popcorn balls and homemade granola bars - are you going to accept them from a stranger, or let your kid eat them?

I was brought up with healthy food and it never did me any harm. I wasnt allowed Coca Cola until i was 14, and was given sweets & chocolate on an 'only if you're good or its a special occasion' basis. That said, Halloween for you guys is a fun holiday, so i think its inappropriate to be doling out carrot sticks and the like to kids - i mean that must be really disappointing 'happy halloween, here, have a vegetable.'

It's a special occasion, and the trick is to allow the transgression of a few fatty treats lest the kids grow up resenting the holiday, their parents, neighbours etc and go around with a shotgun killing people.

If you really want kids to be healthy and stop being fat - dont ween them onto a crappy diet, simple as...

exactly. anything not packaged got thrown out. Apples, and home made stuff it isn't worth the risk

oh fuck that, kids need cavities, sharp toys, and less video games and bycicles.

i remember coming home bleeding pretty much every time i played with my friends, now i cant remember the last time my little brother played outside.

Anyone ever have an encounter on halloween with the lady that handed out pencils? That bitch got her house egged or tp'd guaranteed.

i totally agree and frankly this generation of kids makes me sad. it is no longer "cool" to dress up anymore because thye want to be thugs and homies and popnfresh and w/e. It really is sad and now all they are obessed about is damn make up and novelty jewelry and shit. I think my generation was the last one that actually loved halloween so much that i went trick or treatign last year hahah. Well me and a couple of my friend with younger brothers went out but it was fun. I sure hope this doesnt die, it was always wicked fun to do.

Halloween to me is my favorite holiday, october is an awesome month its a good vib and just emotionally awesome. I loved trick or treating on base it rocked dressing up, getting food, all of it. I learned civilians don't go as far with it as on base, on base we had haunted houses in almost every garage, everyone had fun with it. Now you're lucky to find one decorated house and 5 that give candy on any given block.

You can be someone else for a day, watch scary movies, search for ghosts, play pranks, and oh yeah most hot girls go out wearing stuff you'd only otherwise see in a fun bedroom game.

HALLOWEEN ROCKS, SAVE HALLOWEEN BEFORE IT DIES!!!!!
