bought from a friend around here who just blew his headgasket, so i just got a 2.0mm hks mhg and slapped it on, with a greddy boost controller, safcII, lex afm, and it was runnin ok, always seemed to have low oil pressure, im guessing the oil pump wasnt up to par, and the rubber hose inbetween the throttle body and the 3000pipe had a nice size hole in it, fixed that and it ran fine for about 2 days then rod knock :nono: oh well, hope i can get it fixed before vegas! :icon_conf

Maybe some of the coolant from the BHG got in to the oil. Did you purge all the oil from all the passage ways, including the oil cooler before you tried starting the engine again?

i dont know, a friend of mine here installed the engine for me, i know i messed up and should have had it done right :cry: im gonna go cry in a corner now
