Paint isn't great, but the body is straight and it's finally running after a year and a half of gradual work on her. Now, everybody can get ready for a host of questions as I try to work through the remaining problems. :evil2:

And btw, thanks to everyone who through advice, suggestions, and raiding their spare parts got my project this far. ;)

:naughty: Glad it looks that good! But it's just a hi-temp candy blue paint, 4 layers of paint under 3 layers of hi-temp clearcoat. Couldn't afford the powder coat of about the same color right now, so I settled for that paint for the time being.

So the paint and the clear-coat are high temp or just the clear coat? It certainly look good.

Both are high temp. Spent about 2 weeks sanding and polishing everything by hand, then degreased and painted/sealed it. They took a little damage, some dings and chips during assembly, but still not too shabby. Definately sets off those parts from the rest of an otherwise blah engine compartment.
