When I drive, sometimes it'll feel like the left rear tire is dragging, like there's a guy holding my rear bumper and his body hits the pavement every revolution or so. It also feels like the left rear tire isn't spinning as fast or as much when I'm taking inclines occasionally. That is also the side where my wheel alignment turns bad, where the inside part of the tire wears out a lot faster than the rest of the tire.

What could it be?

Well...your brake caliper may be hanging up and causing a brake drag.
A brake and alignment shop can check it, and the alignment.
I happened to look at my back wheels one day when I was walking to my car, and noticed the drivers side rear wheel was leaning in at the top of the tire.
It turned out to be the lower control arm outer bushing was totally bad.
hers the link to that... http://www.toyota-supra.info/forums/showthread.php?t=1973&highlight=rear+bushing

Get your problem checked out soon, as it can become a safety issue real quick.

if its a front tire lean(like mine) it could be camber adjustment bolts. i know i need new ones. it pulls a little to the right and 1 tire leans. for the rear, ifs has a few things that could cause that. but i think i would check the breaks first. thats a lot easier.

I had an issue once after replacing the brake master cylinder... felt like the wheels were dragging as well... Parts counter guy thought I was nuts, but I made him exchange the master cylinder for another remanufactured one and it worked like it was supposed to.

Like PSI said... could be a number of things. There are probably a few more symptoms you haven't noticed yet, but try to listen for "click" or scraping sounds. Clicking could be a wheel bearing thing, scraping = caliper, etc...

first thing I thought was diff...but it would probably feel like the opposite tire was dragging when you turn the other direction. Mine kinda rattles at low speed when cornering and sometimes feels like a tire is dragging.

When I take uphills while turning left, the left wheel feels like it's dragging but it never happens when I'm taking uphills while turning right.

There is no scraping sound. No rubbing. Just like the wheel is detached like a balloon and the right rear tire is the only tire spinning the wheels occassionally. No vibrations excapt after 90 mph. It does pull a little to the right on the freeway. I'll check the bushings when there's light out.
