Sounds like Carlsbad CA Toyota dealer that wanted 275.00 for the drivers side door lock switch. I laughed at the guy and said NO I dont want the whole door just the switch, he gave me a smirk and I left. I went to Ecology junk yard and bought two of them for 10.00.

I wonder if location has anything to do with parts costs. In other words, I wonder if parts at my dealership are any cheaper since the North American Toyota Parts Center is within walking distance from my house. I asked at Toyo about 5 months ago, they told me $600. Thats about what I thought they would say. So I just fixed mine.
