yea a 2jz could be made to work, but there are 1jz intercooler kits out now.. I think driftmotion has one.. MTR has one.. 935 might have one as well.. check into it..
sort of. You can use most of the parts from a 2J kit, especially the TB side. It also would require you to use a stock fender pipe from a 7mgte.
However, unless its nearly free, it's not worth the extra trouble when better fitting kits are available.
Even Blitz has a 1JZ intercooler kit.
