i dont think this is right, but could this be why my car keeps throwing the ks signal. where should the red wire go? and it was this way when i got it. so no i didnt do it. lol

Don't fret. Mine looks like that too. $#@% PO. It seems to throw the code mainly when it's over 85 out. Under that it's fine, but still needs to be fixed.

mines throws a code when you rev over 2000 rpm's i dont know what the hell they done when they rebuilt the motor but they run all the vacuum lines wrong too.
eviltwins: Just go out and do it. Gather up the supplies to rewire the KS and it's easier than you've ever thought.
(just to make sure i could find it using the search function, i typed in: knock sensor rewire- then i came across several threads containing this link)
