need some more specs on the cooler such as pressure drop, cfm, etc etc.

if your only shooting for 350 id just use the stocker and get 550s instead and hardpipes. people have made that power with stock ct26's iirc. i made 320rwhp on low boost through the stock intercooler and pipes!

thats correct... I'd just get the hardpipes and 550s and a lex afm or maft... and a boost controller...

First of all what are the dimensions of the intercooler, and secondly it is a side to side so you will have to run extra piping to make it fit (if it does). There for effieciency drops as long as you are running stock intake manifold and not front facing.

It is hard to tell you if the intercooler is well suited for your needs because there are no specs. If you could get some specs that be great.

If you are looking for a decent intercooler the one from Horsepower freaks is apparently great. I am going to be getting on soon. Also the spearco is really good as well.

P.S. while you are at it, you should probably upgrade to hard pipes because the old plastic and rubber ones have a tendency to blow, even under stock pressure. (ask Stanzaspeed if you dont believe me).

if you click the picture it pops up bigger with numbers. its tiny 3x4x1? has 1in outlets? smaller than stock!

I dont think those are the dimensions. For one thing the intercooler is longer length wise then width wise, so this could not be 3x4x1. And if that is true, what would be the point of that intercooler, I have a CD case is bigger than that.

Buy a stocker. Easier to mount and easily used for your hp needs. Use the extra money you would need to buy that intercooler+mounting+extra piping and buy hard pipes, or make them from cheap steel and paint it.

I do have a stock intercooler in great condition for sale... :bigthumb:

psi drop under .2? for $96 shipped? somethings fishy....

I agree, something that effeicient would cost alot more. Plus it is too long and kinda narrow. This will give you trouble in mounting as you will have to get it custom mounted because it is over 7" longer than stock plus the pipes will have to be mounted on top of that 25 inches.

Like MKIIINA said, go with a stock, new or used. Even though it does have a nasty psi drop, it will do what you want. But if you are unsatisfied with this, go aftermarket, but something near the same size or a bit bigger than stock. Any bigger is kinda useless because it will be just too big for what you want.

Hope this helps.

Thanks. I guess I will save up a bit more and get the 24 x 12 x 3

if you want ease of installation, get a spearco drop in replacement or simaler style. i believe drift motion had a few units for a few hundred. not bad for a direct drop in.

or just grab an e-bay 24x12x3 ic. its cheap, and it works. the one you posted up looks like weaksauce turbo civic material :icon_conf
