I needed to tap into a line on the pas. side b/c of where I have the gauge mounted, and I followed this line from the DS where the everyone else said to tap into it,

( this is the same line that I needed to re-route for my heater )
I am getting a accurate reading from it and everything seems ok.
I just wanted to make sure I wouldnt run into anyproblems..

thanks for the help!

It'll work, but you should really make the line as short as possible. Source the vac reference as close to the manifold as you can and then enter the car over by the clutch master cylinder.
Right now, you've got like 8' of hose leading to the gauge. If you do like I suggested, you'll have like 3'...

I have the gauge mounted right next to the glove box,
after the line enters the car, there is about 1' of length,

but yea that top line runs all the way across the firewall.
