Just wondering if this could possibly be a BHG?........

Well my car started knocking, so a friend and I dropped the pan and replaced the bearings. Everything looked really good inside the motor so we put it back together and went for a drive. It started knocking again and on the way back to the shop this little bastard popped out to say hi :aigo:

So the plan now is to park the car till I want to deal with it, which will probably be in the winter sometime. I'm going to do a proper build up, not buy another motor that I have no idea about like this one.

I've got big plans for this build up, and hopefully everything will go well with it, but I guess we shall see. I will probably make a buildup thread once I start on it.

Also there will be some parts for sale that are on the car right now, that I will not be needing when it goes back on the road. 60-trim CT26, DDP, MDC Oil lines. I'll make a list of parts and post it in the for sale section soon.

Maybe it's a blessing in disguise because it looks like that fuel return line was about to bust any second! :biglaugh:

I think it looks like that because there was a small fire, which thankfully I was near my shop and there are a few fire extinguishers there so I got to one quick and put it out before there was any major damage. A few melted things and some burnt wires but nothing I can't easily replace.

That sucks dude, so I guess you threw a rod? Well I hope ya get it running maybe even better than before, all new pistons, bearings, rods, MHG, studs, the works make that thing a tank, Thats what I'd love to do, someone told me ross pistons were better because they were almost same as any other but they have the oil squirters already drilled unlike the JE pistons or some of the other brands.

I like where you are going with that nate!!! It would technically be down a cylinder. Just think about how much better the gas mileage would be on 5.

Sorry Loki, looks like no more burnouts for a while!!!!

INLINE 5!!! Haha, that engine would buck like a bull. That really sucks man, but it really could be a blessing in disguise like said earlier. Now you can build up an engine that you know EXACTLY the condition of and now you can also go bigger and badder!! Anyways, good luck!

I was sick of the pussy spinning bearings, I needed to go out in style this time

I'm going big on this build up, it won't start for a bit. I need a break from the car, but when I start it I'll probably make a build up thread on here or something.
