hmmm is that a true statement ? tube and fin can be more efficient in certain applications? tube and fin is more restrictive inside so the air is in there longer and may cool better? but bar and plate will flow more air inside faster which results in not as cold of air, but more power in the long run.?? im no expert in any aspect of anything either. just wondering..

and can you run as high boost with tube and fin?

So would an HKS kit with pipes be worth $800 shipped or would it be better to get an spearco bar and plate for $400 (eBay) and buy pipes?

as with everything else

trade offs

cooler temps require better thermal coefficent which can be helped by disipators. The air has more surface area to touch meaning more heat gets removed (tube and fin). The bar and plate do not have the internal surface area as a tube and fin and as such it will be less efficent at removing heat. Of course make the bar and plate IC 10 feet long and you will probably be around the same pressure drop and efficency of the T&F.

this is an HKS intercooler which comes in the HKS intercooler kit for our car Have you seen what the HKS kit goes for our car?

$1400+ new man.. $800 used if you can find a complete one.
