Went into a store the oher day one guy asked me if it was an NSX??? I actually looked out the window because I thought he was asking me about another car..

another guy said to me "I used to have one of those! You know you should replace the cams with cams from a Non Turbo." I did not really listen to the rest and do not remember why he said that.

Anyone know why he told me that?

he probably thought it looked like an nsx cuz everything is a round jellybean these days.. no more long sleek sportscars anymore. but the nsx takes long sleek and LOW to another level, beautiful car. there should be a law that a car is not allowed to be a sports car if it doesn't fit within some L:W:H ratio

From what I've gathered in my lurking - the N/A cams are good for a few HP for those with minor mods & modest power goals ... but it doesn't take many bolt-on's to overwhelm any advantage the N/A cams may give.

... I'll wait for the Crower's, myself !

key word - cute.

but as for the turbo/NA cams, i have heard around here that they'd give a little extra kick to the powerband.

Swapping the intake cam for a n/a one shifts the powerband for more down low punch but i have heard it chokes top end alittle.
