is it possible to turn compresssor side of turbo

im installing an air-water setup and i would like to use the least amount of tubing as possible.

turning the turbo compressor side 180 degrees would make life 11000010100x easier

Yes if you remove the index pin in the Comp cover backing plate.

you will need a big snapring tool to take the compressor housing off. once you do that you will see the pin

I turned mine and redrilled hole for pin...

you have to remove the comp houseing to see it.....look at the back side of the comp and you will see I huge C clip holding the houseing on...remove c clip and slide houseing off the you will see a pin the needs to be removed....

maybe a stupid remark, but i think it's worht mentioning:

the 1st and 2nd generation 3S-GTE engines (celica 4wd turbo models) also use a ct-26 and on those engines the turbo is pointing upwards. maybe you can use a houssing from a celica ct26 ?
