ok so i have the titan 1.4 mm MHG
today i checked the oil level and saw that it looked milkey... not as milkey as when i had BHG before the MHG but i just changed the oil less than 50 miles ago.. and new oil shouldent look like this

i did a comp. test and came back ok... all though i lost a little bit in the 1&2 cylinders...

1=170
2=169
3=179
4=180
5=179
6=180

i did the same test a month ago and this is what they looked like

1=180
2=178
3=181
4=180
5=179
6=180

i drained the oil and took a coolent sample:

so what do you guys think?

oh and there is also crap loads of smoke comming out f the valve cover pvc ports.

it runs excellent and the only thing that has changed is i took the intake mani off to polish it. is it possible i hooked a hose to the wrong port that would cause coolent to get into the oil?

help me figure this out!!! please....

Go grab the Napa Combustion Leak test kit and see what it shows (read the instructions carefully before use)

Sometimes a Comp test won't show anything but the motor will lift the head when it's hot and under boost.

Any type of seal can blow, period.

A retorque should be done after about 10 full heat cycles iirc

Why did you go with 90 ft/lbs? ARP Bolts or studs? I think 90 is right only if you're using the bolts, and 30W instead of moly, but this is completely from memory and I'm probably abit off ;) The point here, is to use the specs arp gives, depending on the lubricant used

How did you prep your block & head? Did you check the RA? Was the front plate attached while it was milled?

Ouch! I made the same mistake, but assembled the block myself so made sure it was done right... I still don't have a result yet though.

I went back to the machine shop (who said they've built 7M's before, and then manage to forget the timing cover like I asked!!! wtf?!) at least 5 times, until I finally took it to a different machinist referred by someone in the area that has put together more than one reliable high-hp Supra's using the same machinist.

yes, a retorque may help on a MHG... on a normal HG it's pointless usually...

compression looks a bit off, and it's out of spec per the TSRM IIRC (within 14PSI of eachother)

I seriously doubt the machinist did the retorque - that would most likely be your responsibility.

My ARP studs said 103lbs with 30wt oil.
