i just bought some 2jzgte denso iridium plugs for my 1jz. will they fit and run good? part number is ik20 i think they came in the 2j stock.
is it okay to use 2jzgte plugs in my 1jzgte?

I'm not familiar with the denso part #s so I can't say for sure if what you have are from a 2j. iirc the 2j uses ngk bkr6ep-11.
The best IMO is the ngk bkr73 (6097). In my experience the iridiums don't do too well in boosted engines.
I've got piles of the bkr6ep-11. I'll sell them to ya for $1 a piece haha.

In the faq section in the 1jz section it says that common parts between the 2jz and 1jz are the plugs. Spark plugs for 1jz -ngk 3330 and 6097. A little search and you can find almost anything on this site my friend.

It should work out ok i put 2j plugs in mines also, and works just fine but I dont recall what kind i just went and bought plug for a 2j and tried it and it worked so yeah it works.
