New here, but have been reading awhile!
Had 2 supras, a daily drive NA, and a "basket case" turbo targa that a couple of people have given up on.
The NA blew up last week, so the basket case is finally getting attention!
The crack in the head finally opened up and nuked the rad right out of it!
Never experienced catastrophic radiator failure before, spectacular steam and money show.
The motor in this turbo car has a bunch of "new" and "rebuilt" parts in it, but who ever assembled it was a retard.
Cams were just thrown in, is one example. Clearances from .001 to .037!
Has a bunch of problems yet, but I drove it today.
Damn, shimmed the valves, but apparently the cam caps need filed, got a nasty knock out of the top end at about 2500 rpm.
