I figured I would say howdy as I have been lurking here long enough (even before I registered).
Some may know me from CS.com or SF.com (although I rarely post there anymore).
Anyhow, I am in the NW and have an 88T Maroon Targa 5spd with grey cloth. I parked the car about 6 months ago and pulled the engine (it only has 88K but ah well). I hope to finish the long project later this month or early in sept.
The engine got a full rebuild, balance, line bore with clevite bearings, ross pistons, shot peened rods and all ARP hardware. The head got a 1.4mm MHG, mild port, +1mm SS Valves (cupped and rounded) also with ARP U/C studs. The clutch is a Spec 3 (that may not last long) and the turbo is a complete Greddy RHC7 kit and includes Tubeular manifold, DP, 50mm WG etc. The intercooler is going to be a custom job fabbed by Aaron @ rabidchimp.com. Electronics will be a lex afm and an emanage. Fuel delivery is a single walbro (for now) and greddy 720cc injectors.
I liked the idea of having a MKIII dedicated forum. Although SF.com has tons of info it seems like its just too much. I am glad this forum is growing and I will try and help if I have something inteligent to add. You will have to forgive my spelling though. My fingers cant keep up with mah mind.
