Don't want to be deleted, so I will say a few words...original owner of 1989 MKIII N/A with targa, 135,000 miles...no mods...garage kept and not driven in winter...love my car...had the dreaded blown head gasket at 60,000 miles...burns a little oil between oil changes, but I can live with that...BTW, this is a great site...
