looks nice!!

what paint brand and color did you go with for the dash and trim?
and what type of seats are those??

i'm interested in doing something similar but from blue to black....i bought SEM graphite interior paint. and i want to get my cloth seats recovered with black leather or buying aftermarket.

its VHT Vinyl dye. i used RIT fabric dye for the carpet (i dont suggest doing this). and the seats are recaro reps. the brand is mrc. they are pretty cheap and very comfortable.

yes. its vht vinyl dye. its a "penetrating paint" and it actually holds really well to plastic as well. i got it from summit racing.

Looks hot! I'll be painting mine black too when I have the time. Quick question - what did you do as far as prepping the trim surfaces before you sprayed the dye on? And did you do anything after (like clear coat or sumthin?)

i just cleaned it all with soapy water. no clear. it has a satin finish. its a little shinier than i expected but not bad.

yeah def go with satin. it still looks like real vinyl. if it was much glossier it would look like it was spray painted (which it was lol)

100% improvement over the tan!
I can say that, I had the darker brown/tan in my 90... blech...

The black looks really good, and thanks for the link to the seats :bigthumb:
Guy has a good variety with a lot of great prices!

yeah i would give these seats a great rating. for the price they super comfortable, look good, and much lighter than stock.
